It's A Wonderful Life written by James W. Rodgers with music by John Higgins; Dec. 1st - Dec 18th, Partner is The Family Crisis Center. Tickets for performances on Wednesday December 7 & 14, will be 2 for 1 with donations of canned and boxed items to be used for Christmas dinner. Donations will be taken at the box office.

MISSION STATEMENT

The Highland Lakes Family Crisis Center exists to provide:

·Safe shelter and services to victims of family violence and sexual assault;
·Outreach services, information and referral to others in crisis and;
·Community education on family violence and sexual assault.

Services include a 24 hour hotline, 24 hour face-to-face crisis intervention, emergency shelter, food, clothing, individual and group counseling, information and referral and emergency financial assistance. Assistance is available for any adult or child who has experienced family violence or sexual assault at some time in their lives. All services are free and confidential.
The Family Crisis Center is expecting to provide holiday meals to over 80 families. A way the community can help with this annual giving is by supplementing any part of a holiday meal. Non-perishable donations are needed including canned vegetables, canned sweet potatoes, boxed stuffing, boxed scalloped or mashed potatoes, pumpkin pie filling, etc. Financial contributions to help purchase turkeys or small hams, rolls, fresh fruit/vegetables and other perishable items can also be used.”
