Something's Afoot is a musical comedy murder mystery is a spoof of the whodunit genre which takes a strong satirical poke at Agatha Christie murder mysteries as well as at many musical styles of past years. Ten people are stranded in an isolated English country estate during a raging thunderstorm. One by one they are picked off by cleverly fiendish devices. The bodies begin to pile up in the library as the survivors frantically race to discover the identity and motivation of the cunning culprit. "An engaging, funny refreshing original musical" New York Times

Audiences love all the classic characters. There is Ms. Tweed (Sharon Penny) the self-acclaimed detective of the group, the naive young girl (Savannah Spiller), the greedy nephew (Chris Porter), the family doctor (Pam Hawley), the Colonel (Anson Hahn), and the well to do "lady" (Toni Rysdam-Shorre). Of course, there is the butler (Jack Hoover), the saucy maid (Tica Tanguma), and the caretaker (HCCT favorite Mark Fernandes). They are joined by the univited guest, Chito Hernandez. And there are small cameos by both Garrett and Chris Jett. Stephanie Ellis is the technical director doing the lights, set, and sound with Ruth Gilchrist acting as costumer. Michelle Jett directed the production.
